I have never tried to make pork neck before. I'm going to keep it on the barbeque for about 4-5 hours

This is how it looked when it was done. It was VERY juicy in the middle and dry on the edges. So if you buy this...buy a big piece :-)

Ronny and I went to the movies to see the Norwegian movie "Blod & ære" (blood & honor) about the Norwegian (and Stavanger) boxer Ole Klemetsen (also known as Lukkeøye or the Golden Viking). It was a very good movie actually.

I have made a cake for Nikki

So she can get some energy during her work with ONS :).

How to reduce balsamic vinegar

I'm not sure if you guys use balsamic vinegar (or aceto balsamico as it is also known) but I love to use it when I e.g. eat a salad. When you go to the grocery store there are lots of different ones to choose from but few want to spend several hundred kroner buying Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena which can be age for up to 25 years. If you buy the cheapest stuff you get a balsamic vinegar with a lot vinegar taste but here is one method of making it sweeter and less vinegar tasting. First I bought the cheapest balsamic vinegar I could find....for about 20 kroner (about 4$)

Then I put most of it into a frying pan and boiled it for a while.

And voila...this is what you end up with. A small portion of thick, sweeter balsamic vinegar that is great for using on salads together with good olive oil :-)

I played tenning for two hours with Jon Vidar this afternoon and after a 10 minute break I played an hour of squash with Geir. And to top it of...I biked to/from the squash so I got to bike 10 km as well :-)

Ultra's biggest fan?

I normally do my grocery shopping at Ultra as they have a great selection of all the stuff I need so I count myself as a big fan. But I guess I'm not the biggest fan. I saw this little kid in the store the other day and he went bananas (no pun intended) when he pushed the button to get music going and getting the banan dancing :-)
