Roar and Whitney came to visit today. I made portobello mushroom wrapped in parma ham for starters, chicken in tomato, lemon and garlic (see http://dinmat.aftenbladet.no/Finn-oppskrifter/Oppskrifter/Middag/Fjærkre/Kylling/Kylling-med-tomat,sitron-og-hvitløk ) and for dessert tiramisu (see http://www.nrk.no/programmer/tv/frokost_tv/4430232.html ) and chocolate fondant. We had two different valpolicella wines and for dessert we had a sweet dessert wine (Pellegrino Passito di Pantelleria Liquoroso)

Green Thai prawn curry for dinner

This was an amazing dish and with the right ingredients you can a real taste of Thailand. Here is the recipe: http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/database/greenthaiprawncurry_88606.shtml . We made the curry paste from scratch and I'm sure it works great with chicken as well :-)

This is one of the traditional dishes of South Africa. We didn't have a real wors of course...but an Idsøe sausage acted as a pretty good replacement.
